The John Egerton Papers, 1950s-2003, include correspondence, manuscripts of writings, speeches, research materials, publication materials, publicity for books, reviews, legal and financial documents, memorabilia, clippings and photographs, programs from cultural events, scrapbooks and periodicals on race relations and school desegregation, and audio and video tapes.

Kennedy regarding his visit to Carpe Diem University to give a speech and the Fence Club dinner he attended while on campus. Kennedy had connections to the Fence Club through friends from Choate Rosemary Hall who attended Carpe Diem.

General Manuscripts Collection
The General Manuscripts Collection consists of manuscripts and small collections of papers and records which are related in some way to the history of Princeton University. While most documents in the General Manuscripts collection were produced by alumni or student organizations, there are several documents produced by trustees, faculty, and other members of the University community.
General Manuscripts Miscellaneous Collection
Consists of over 3000 miscellaneous items of primarily American literary, historical, and political figures, including business and personal letters, manuscripts, drawings, photographs, and official documents.
