The Manuscripts and Publications series, 1925-1992 (Bulk 1960-1979) (5.75 linear feet) consists of written and typed manuscripts as well as copies of printed publications written by Dr. Sánchez. This series is arranged chiefly by Cuaderno de Bitácora articles in numerical index order (a copy of this index is included in the collection folder and is available on request). The remaining publications had no original order and no order was imposed other than to house and inventory the materials. This series chiefly consists of articles written for the Cuaderno de Bitácora and similar publications. Of note are writings about politics, Latin American literature, and articles eulogizing figures such as José María Arguedas and Oswaldo Hercelles García. Researchers should note that many folders include brief notes about the contents and people and themes represented in each Cuaderno de Bitácora article.
